Members shared mixed perspectives on whether SlimFast is suitable for diabetics, with the strongest consensus being that any meal replacement should be evaluated based on its carb and sugar content, as SlimFast is often high in sugars that can cause blood sugar spikes. Several members emphasized the importance of consulting a doctor before starting any diet plan, noting that drinking carbs enters the bloodstream faster than eating solid food and that sustainable success comes from eating healthy rather than following restrictive diets. A recurring theme was the mantra of moderation over deprivation, with many members sharing that their doctors advised them there are no forbidden foods, only mindful portions and balance.

I've tried different diets and they don't work. I'm trying to eat healthy. However, because of cancer, right now I'm drinking a lot of boost and other diabetic meal replacement drinks.
