@A DiabetesTeam Member - some good advice here regarding lots of fluids. Also remember to take your blood sugar readings more often when you're sick so they don't go dangerously high.

You can eat anything you would like as long as you know what the complications would be. Ontherwise you wil find out and never di it again. Good luck.🤣

Drink plenty of water so you keep well hydrated. Rest well. Take paracetamol for a temperature.

I had the flu for almost 1 month still stuck with this awful cough.What I would say is watch what medication you take because it can spike your sugars so high it happened to I literally felt my heart would stop and i wanted to pass out because the sugar was so high.Drink plenty of liquids.
