I was diagnosed with Type 2 a year ago. Doctor started me out on Metformin. In that period of time the dose got up to 2500 once a day, with Victoza added. I was so sick and fatigued I could barely get out of bed everyday. I kept telling my doctor about the fatigue, vomiting, he didn't change my meds. I found another doctor who recognized my adverse reactions to the drugs, and took me off of them.. Now I am on 100 mg of Januvia daily... so far no bad side affects. My AIC is 5.8. I was on it but moved to once-a-week injections of Trulicity. I like it better.
