I have recently experienced higher fasting glucose levels over the course of about 6 weeks. Normally, I am at 80- 120 in the mornings, but lately have been about 140- 160. Has anyone tried the low-carb high-fat diet recommended by dietdoctor.com? If I keep to 100 grams of carbs per day is that enough of a carb reduction or do I have to go much lower?
I have heard so many people say they have to eat at specific times, (Scheduled) that it worries me. I am very likely to eat breakfast at 11 AM I if I'm not working on the day. Is it really important to be scheduled. I am not the least interested in eating in the AM, and often have no appetite at 5:00PM either but have to feed my family... 😣
Also, I have days when I will be burning hot one minute and freezing cold to the bones ten minutes later. Is this possibly related to diabetes?
Eating regularly helps regulate BS. Gives your body time to burn the carbs with keeping away lows.
