Great news — an A1c of 5.8% is technically in the prediabetes range (5.7%–6.4%), but it's very close to the healthy range of below 5.7%. The fact that it dropped from 6.1% to 5.8% shows real progress — whatever you're doing is working!

Here's a quick breakdown of the standard A1c ranges:

Here's a quick breakdown of the standard A1c ranges:

- Below 5.7% — Healthy/normal range
- 5.7% to 6.4% — Prediabetes range
- 6.5% or higher — Diabetes range For someone already living with diabetes, most health experts recommend keeping A1c below 7%, so a 5.8% is well within a healthy target for diabetes management.

It's always worth discussing your personal target with your doctor, as the ideal A1c can vary based on age, overall health, and your treatment plan. Keep up the great work! 🎉

I was diagnosed at 6.1 and I am at 5.9. I was 5.7 but my humira has lcaused a bit of elevation. My endocrinologist told me to keep doing what I was doing and she won’t try meds till I’m 6.5. You are doing awesome. Keep up the good. Work!
