@A DiabetesTeam Member It does take awhile to get out of your system. Hang in there

I’m horrified to say the least Henry 😳
That’s dreadful ! 😳
But then I remember that you’re not like normal men and then I let go of my breath❤️.
I personally have movements 2-3 times a day.
If I eat carbs, even zero carb slices of toast, I go more often. So I have almost zero carbs.
Carbs also make my triglycerides sky rocket. That also increases my cholesterol. So almost no carbs for me.
Milk gives me sewer breath. So I avoid milk. But yogurt, cottage cheese, cream cheese, cream, kefir, and cheese are okay.
Coffee is a no no for me. Liquid blows out of both ends. And it gives me hives.
Garlic gives me hives.
Chocolate gives me hives.
General anesthesia only keeps me under for 5 minutes, then they have to keep giving me more and more.
It can be quite disconcerting when you hear everything your surgical team is saying.
I had my shoulder reconstructed 47 years ago. They gave me injections, they gave me gas, then they gave me the general anesthesia.
They told me to count backwards from 10. After I said zero I asked if they wanted me to start again. He told the anesthesiologist I needed more. Then every 5 minutes I became aware. I had to keep telling them that I was awake.
The surgeon kept telling him to give me more. When the anesthesiologist said I can't give him anymore because I've given him enough to put down a horse. The surgeon says to give me more.
I was awake when they began sewing up the 5 inch incision in my right shoulder. I kept my eyes shut and tried not to flinch when they sewed me up.
I convinced them to use a spinal 18 years later when they reattached my severed right Achilles tendon.
When I had my surgery to have my prostate cancer removed. I had 2 anesthesiologists. One to monitor my vitals and tell the other to give me more. I was aware of many short snippets of conversation, but could not talk yet. I thanked them and said they they did a good job. I also thanked my surgeon.
Novacaine doesn't work on me. So all my dental work has been live and in person. Even my 2 root canals.
Lydocaine only works for 2-3 minutes.
So my surgery to have this medtronics heart loop monitor was painful.

So what I am saying is:
Not everything we experience is directly related to diabetes. We are all different and unique.
Some things are just our unique bodies.
Good luck.
I take flax meal on a regular basis and sometime psyllium husk. Most times it seems to work but it depends on what definition of constipation you accept. I go roughly every 2-3 days sometimes daily so I'm happy with that, I think my body knows what it's doing so no point in fretting.
