Hello Sanette
Henry ( @A DiabetesTeam Member) has raised a very important question. .
Do not drink copious amounts of Rooibos.
You never mentioned how much you actually drink, but when you next go to your GP, ask his advice about normal consumption of Rooibos.
I had a cup of Rooibos with my lunch today and sometimes with my breakfast. I also find that if I have a migraine, a cup of Rooibos with my pain cocktail, really helps.
Everything in moderation is very important.
Take care. Be safe ๐ค๐๐ฟ๐ฆ
If you have liver or kidney issues - it could make things worse.
Good luck identifying the issue.

Absolutely! Rooibos has no caffeine in it. ๐ฟ๐ฆ
Itโs a very healthy tea.
This site is in the USA, so even although one can purchase Rooibos there, not many Americans know about our incredible tea.
Sanette please rephrase your question and ask it in the same manner as you did this one. It seems that AI might be confused.
Try : IMMEDIATELY AFTER I HAVE EATEN, MOSTLY IN THE AFTERNOON, I BECOME LIGHT HEADED. I ONLY DRINK CAFFEINE FREE TEA.
Try that question.
Have you had your blood pressure tested when you become light headed? It might have nothing to do with diabetes and I think that itโs worth checking out.
Diabetics really should be under the care of an Endocrinologist. ๐ค๐ฟ๐ฆ
I also have to add that my lightheadedness does not happen 1 to 2 hours after, it's almost immediately, and I drink rooibos tea, isn't it beter than normal tea.
Hugs to Lorna8KZN keep it up
