My Dr added Jardiance 25 mg daily to my Metformin XR 2000 mg and Glipizide XR 20 mg in late December 2025. I saw my FBS lower from 170 to 120. Jardiance seems to have been a help to me. Tomorrow I will have my first A1C check since it was added. I am hoping I will see a lower A1C.

I wake up in the morning with high sugar , but it's not that high. I am on synjardy 5mg of jardiance and 500 MG's metformin. It works great. As soon as I eat and take it my sugars down fast. Something's work for some people and others they don't. Depends on the person

Morning highs are a natural thing caused by inactivity we get when we're asleep. As soon as we get up and start being active your bgs start going down again. If like me you have a fit healthy dog all u need to do is take your dog for a good brisk walk twice every day. If you do that every day you might not need the Jardiance which if I'm right is a backup pill to your Metformin.
