Jardiance is a SGLT2 inhibitor that lowers blood sugar by increasing glucose excretion through the kidneys. It certainly can be prescribed with or without another drug. Depending on how well your sugar levels are controlled.
@A DiabetesTeam Member I'm on Jardiance/Januvia/Metformin. I get moderate results averaging about 150 mg BS.
I take it. It's a pill. I take it with glimered and jardance. I exercise at the Y 2 or 3 times a week. My BS are still higher than I want them to be.
