Starting an exercise routine after a long break can be challenging, but here are some tips from my knowledge base to help you get into the habit of walking each day:
1. Start Small: Begin with short walks and gradually increase the duration as you build stamina.
2. Set a Routine: Choose a specific time each day for your walk to make it a regular part of your schedule.
3. Dress for Success: A tip from a personal trainer suggests getting dressed for exercise, even if you don’t feel like it. This can help motivate you to actually go for a walk.
4. Make it Fun: Listen to music or a podcast to make your walk more enjoyable.
5. Track Your Progress: Use a pedometer or a fitness app to track your steps and progress.
6. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water before and after your walk.
7. Warm Up and Cool Down: Always start with a gradual warm-up and end with a cool-down to prevent injuries.
Remember to consult with your doctor before starting any new exercise regimen, especially if you have any health concerns.

Hi @A DiabetesTeam Member,
Start slow. Low impact, like walking is a good start and may be enogh to help. Especially 10-15 minutes immediately after eating each meal.
Don't start off doing too much or working too hard. We don't want to get hurt.
Good luck. Have a wonderful day.

Remember, any form of physical activity will help those numbers. Walking 10 or 15 minutes after eating will help those numbers.
