No life doesn't stop because of Diabetes but you better respect it and follow the rules or Diabetes WILL STOP YOUR LIFE and it does it in a slow, painful nightmare of a way

Moderation is key - Control is absolutely necessary

I have a shot of Canadian Whiskey now and then mixed with Coke "ZERO" if you want beer go for the "lowest carb option" and forget drinking a 6 pack - and if you are a wine drinker it needs to be "super dry" - sugar count no more than 2 or it could cause a problem

Yes, Diabetes Sucks - no your life doesn't stop - but it's not going to stay the same. It was most certainly your lifestyle that resulted in you developing Diabetes in the first place

So you can change the way you have been living or Diabetes will determine the way you die - your choice

Hi Kcmalatjl, my advice is you can drink occasionally and not all the time as some of them you know contains sugar which is not too good for Diabetes and affects your medication potency, So watch quantity and frequency. Enjoy the rest of your week.
