Dexcom G7 CGM.
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

I need advice from
people with diabetes using the Dexcom G7 CGM. We are going on holiday and I would like to swim. I know Dexcom claims the CGM is waterproof. What is your experience/advice? I am T1 and the CGM has been life changing, I would hate to have to take a tester with strips on holiday.

The extra plasters works amazingly! I swam had long bath and the sensor was not damaged at all.

I spoke to them they said it is fine. But I also bought extra plasters that covers more of the sensor. The company is called sticky and sweet co za and Dexcom referred me to them. I am taking my tester and strips for emergency but Dexcom said the extra plaster will 100% work.

Call customer service for dexacom and ask them or your pharmacist. I would still take the tester and strips just in case you need them
