What reversing diabetes "means" is you achieve "clinical remission" - a (state) where your A1C is below 6.0% for at least 90 days "without using medication"
So you are doing it through strict diet, weight management and exercise
It does NOT mean you fix anything. You don't go back to the "old days" where you could eat everything - you will be diabetic until you die but as long as you are in "remission" an A1C test will "look like" you don't have diabetes
I have been in remission for just on 7 years now - no meds - but I still count "every" calorie and carb that goes in my mouth - plan my meals - weigh/measure read nutrition labels and calculate
I maintain my weight at a BMI between 22 and 23 and exercise "program" every other day
That is what Remission is - it's not eating pizza and drinking coke - I wish 😁
