There may be other reason(s) that making you tired and wanting to sleep. It will be good to ask your primary care doctor.
However if your tiredness and desire to sleep is caused by hi blood glucose, then it will be appropriate to check your blood sugar level at that time..
For years I used to pinch my finger until it became stiff and painful. My primary care doctor prescribed a permanent sensor I wear on back of my upper arm which gives me real time glucose reading every 5 minutes. I am using the Dexcom program but there are several others that give you similar results.
So check with your primary care for further advice.Good luck.

Can you test your blood sugar ?.Constant tiredness and dropping off to sleep are signs that blood sugar is too high.
