I bake and use alternate flours. I need to find a low carb bread that works.

I will try this recipe. Thank you. I particularly like her explanations.

I have another recipe that uses baking powder and psyllium husks. It is ok but it is not quite right. I am working on it. I use psyllium husks instaed of Gluten Wheat it is just cheaper. I will let you know what happens.

Psyllium Husk (which is the fiber in Metamucil) is great as a bulking agent anywhere that you use breadcrumbs (like in meatloaf) - super high fiber - keeps things "moving" 😁

I found it terrible trying to work with the almond flour although I do use it in various recipes, just not for dough

Instead I use Carbquik and add some fast rising bread yeast

Carbquik is a fiber infused real flour (low carb version of Bisquick) - can find it on Amazon and low carb places

They have recipes on the box

I use it for pancakes, biscuits and dinner rolls

I have tried their pizza dough recipe but found it a little too much of a (biscuit flavour) that didn't really work for me, so my quest for a decent pizza crust is still ongoing (8 years and counting)

But your palate may be different, so maybe worth a look
