How Do You Stay Active When You Have Other Issues?
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have agoraphobia with panic attacks, ptsd from a very abusive marriage (which I left 2014) plus depression I do see 2 different therapists and they both help. But I also stress out over things I shouldn't even worry about

As JudyHenderson said. Chair Yoga is an excellent way to exercise. I have done it several times. It is also very relaxing and calming.

I do chair yoga and when warm enough, go to the pool and walk in the pool.

Tina, it’s okay to do baby steps & just start doing what makes you comfortable & where. I workout in my home & do online exercise, where I can modify if I need to. Also, yoga & meditation helps my mental health. Also, there is no shame in seeing a therapist or having counseling to help our mental health. Hugs 💚
