Hi @A DiabetesTeam Member,
If you have a bit of a bladder infection, that can affect control. See your doctor.

You can control your weak bladder by kegel exercises. I do mine in reps of 3 short term x 3 sets and 3 long term x3 sets at least 5 times a day, every day. In fact I am doing them now.

I have worse than a weak bladder. I have no nerves to control #1 or #2. They were cut out in cancer surgery 6.5 years ago.

I had to identify my kegels, then constantly exercise them to gain any control. I have been doing this from before my cancer surgery. I control urination and more from muscle memory only, because no nerves to control it.

I started out with depends, then feminine hygiene pads, then in about 3 months from surgery to normal underwear.

Did I mention that part of the pelvic floor muscles and part of the kegels had to be sacrificed to the cancer surgery. So doctors were amazed that I ever regained control.

I am currently in my 9th cancer treatment in 6.5 years. It keeps metastisizing. It doesn't know that we've got this. I will not let cancer beat me or take me out.

Good luck to you.
Do what you need to do.
