I'm Stage 2 which "might" simply be related to (primarily) Age plus being Type 2 never helps, but at this stage I don't have to make a single change to accommodate "what is best for my kidneys"

you should have access to a dietician,or doctor who will advise and give you information about necessary changes-if any are required.
