Controlling Levels At An All Inclusive Island Vacation
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

Type 2 in good health and levels are in good shape. I get Moderation and activities but there's lots to eat and drink. Any suggestions from experience?

You should already be familiar with what you "shouldn't eat" so don't eat it

Stick mostly to the proteins and fats and less starchy veggies (greener the better) and leave the dessert table alone if you can't stop at "one treat" 😆

If you drink your booze mixed with sugar free mix then you only have the calories from the alcohol to worry about

For Beer or Wine you should limit your beer to a couple of light options (lower carb) and dry wines have lower sugar counts - a nice dry red is also full of antioxidants so you can almost call it "health food" 😂
