People taking insulin or on sulfonureas might be given a higher target range than others not on these medications @A DiabetesTeam Member.

That is because dangerous, even life threatening lows, are a distinct possibility. By all means, talk this out with your doctors.

I partner with my doctors and we decide treatment plans together. My last doctor's visit before beginning our 3.5 month holiday / vacation on 10 January is with 1 of my 3 oncologists on 8 January.

I am doing bloodwork this morning for that appointment.

HI Sophia, that sounds good to me. Mine was 13.5 on 30th and that was a fright to me. But it was afternoon over the festive season. I was told 4.5 - 5.5 is what I need to aim for
