Need Advice Regarding Playing Sport
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello
I need advice regarding playing field hockey. When I play, my glucose levels go up even though I might have only eaten a bowl of cornflakes for breakfast or some crackers for lunch. when they do go up whilst playing they reach 16mmol/l. I wanted to know if anyone else experiences this with sport and does it effect your muscles, every year when this happens each season, it appears to effect my muscles and i end up pulling/tearing my calf muscle for the last 3 seasons
