Hi @A DiabetesTeam Member,
Poorly controlled blood glucose numbers, glucose spikes. Numbers above 7.8(140) cause cumulative vascular damage. The vascular damage leads to diabetes complications and comorbidities.

Things like edema, especially in the legs and heart. And peripheral neuropathy in the feet, legs and hands. Heart damage, strokes, vision issues, dementia, amputations, kidney disease, and even death.

Do yourself a favor and control your numbers now, to halt the progression of diabetes complications and comorbidities now.
Don't allow them to progress.

Hydrate properly, replenish your electrolytes and so treat the cramping.

Never give up, never surrender, never ever.
You got this.
Have a wonderful day.
