Dehydration is a real problem for those diagnosed with diabetes.

Higher blood glucose numbers cause more urination, cause dehydration. Sip more water all day long. Sip, don't chug it.

Conventional wisdom is about 1/2 ounce water for every pound of body weight daily. So at 180 pounds that is 90 ounces of water daily. If you are moderately active a little more might be in order.

Good luck.
