Advise - get into your Doctor "really soon" and tell them to get out the prescription pad

Running at that level for sustained periods of time is beyond hazardous to your long term health.

So forget asking on the internet or trying naturals or voodoo - you need meds, maybe even Insulin depending on how you are medicated right now because you are shaving years off your life running that high and doing significant vascular damage

I was taking 850mg of Metformin twice daily and my A1C went from 6.8 to 7.5. My Dr increased the Metformin to 1000mg twice daily. Had blood work done 3 months later and it went to 8.1. Now he added 25mg of Januvia once daily. Will have blood work in another 3 months. I’m very careful on what I eat and workout 6 days a week. Very disappointing in my A1C numbers. I hope the Januvia works without any side affects.
