NO - no type of diabetes gets it passed along that way

There are a few types of Diabetes - 1, 2, MODY, LADA, Gestational and a couple even rarer types (or subtypes)

Some are Auto-Immune, one is genetic and one is metabolic

While your child inherits genes from their parents, and it is those genes that "cause" Type 1, LADA or MODY or make you more susceptible to Type 2 those (issues) happened at the time of conception and nothing you can do about that one way or the other
