What Is The Cause Of Hazy Vision?
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

I can only see normally if I hold a hand above my eyes to block out the light. Even driving I have to hold my hand above my eyes to see the dials on the dashboard.

Certainly talk to your Doctor

Occasionally blurry vision is often a symptom of high blood sugar (at the moment)

If you have "chronic" vision issues, and especially light sensitivity it could a number of eye conditions causing the issue

Some may be diabetes related (macular degeneration or retinopathy) or it could be unrelated to your diabetes

Since diabetes can do a number on your vision that is exactly why it is "prescribed" that all diabetics have an annual eye exam from an eye doctor (not merely an optometrist at Walmart) to check for eye issues

In many countries the leading cause of blindness is Diabetic Retinopathy so you don't want to mess with over the counter or internet advice when it comes to your vision

See a Doc
