Depends what type your are;
* Type 1 (insulin dependent): Is your sugar constantly high? Or only after a meal?
Speak to your your doctor/specialist about altering your basal (long-acting) and bolus (fast-acting) insulin regime.
* Type 2: Evaluate and improve your daily diet and increase daily activity (fitness). You also might need to consider going onto insulin.
What ate you eating to make it this high ?
I didn't knw that GI and rye bread are carbs. I must stop eating bread
