Hi @A DiabetesTeam Member,
A normal blood glucose reading is 4.0(72)-7.8(140) for a 2 hour number.

For me my morning fasting blood glucose numbers are 6.0(108) to 6.5(117).

My 2 hour numbers are 5.5(99) to 7.5(135). That is my target range. Sure I would love nondiabetic numbers, but they are not in the cards for me at present.

What numbers should those diagnosed with diabetes look for.

TITR 4.0(72) to 7.8(140) is a good goal since it will preclude additional cumulative vascular damage. It will arrest diabetic complications and comorbidities right where they are.

Look for fasting blood glucose numbers below 7.0(126).

Look for 2 hour numbers below 7.8(140).

To avoid hypos, look for numbers no lower than 3.9(70).

Does that answer some of your questions. I wish for you more good days than bad and have many exceptional days too.

Baby steps. I can do baby steps and you can too.

And never give up, never surrender, never ever.
You got this.
Have a wonderful day.
