I guess sucralose might be dangerous if u use it in everything every day but I only use it in baking which I don't do all the time, in porridge for a hot breakfast in late autumn and winter and on strawberries and cream but never in everything every day!

Sucralose is Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) by the FDA and Health Canada in our case

I can't remember exactly how many "doses" a day they tested (but it was something like if you drank 24 soft drinks a day containing the stuff - way more than Joe/Jane average would ever consume) they found no "short or long term negative effects"

Of course if you google anything you will find a zillion posts about how the stuff will kill you or at least cause the growth of a second head, but the fact is after years of studies there is nothing definitive to say the stuff is "bad"

(to be fair, nothing says it's good for you either - it's just an artificial sweetener so for "US" at least it won't mess with our blood sugar)

No don't dump it but DUMP anything that contains ASPARTAME

Diet Mountain Dew is good. I haven't seen it recently tho.
