I am thinking that some of my tummy problems could be from Metformin. I was taking 4 a day,each 500mg. Now I am taking only 3. Still having bloating and gas, plus belly pain sometimes. Never used to have bloating and gas before I took Metformin. Can someone advise? thank you. Have a great rest of the week.😂

Tell your doctor to take you off metformin the sooner the better. Metformin cause of that and more ask your doctor about alternative meds that are also much less than dosage Meds such as Glipizide Rybelsus & steglatro. Although I take all three of course they are different types of meds but the total dosage of all of them is 31 and 1/2 mg as opposed to whatever you're taking a metformin I guess you probably thinking at least 1000maybe even 1500 Mg. I also suggest you take vitamin d everyday at least 1000 IU if you are not already

I've been on Metformin for years and still get diarrhea daily. Dr. increased the med and I thought I was going to waste away so cut it back. Since taking, I have more problems with raw foods.

I haven’t had on medication that I didn’t have a side effect 😪

If your on Metformin it can give digestion problems, ask for SLOW RELEASE (SR) Metformin and see if it helps
