Hmmm if anything they can eat a diabetic meal as well it might be healthier for them I have a daughter who is vegan so I have no choice but to make something different for her so sometimes I have three different meals on the go since I`m not eating many starches lately in which my other family members non vegan love the pastas, potatoes, and rice so yea good thing i can just eat whatever I really don`t care lol.

Lean fresh meat, chicken, lots of fresh dark green veg for iron, other veg for vitamins n minerals, starch in moderation, fresh oily fish, lowest sugar fruit, diabetics can eat anything they like but in strict moderation

Whatever my Bride wants. Usually has something to do with beef, and salad.
Most of my meals are stir fry, soup, salad or some combination of the above.

If stir fry, I make rice for guests. If soup or Chili, I make rice for guests.
If salads and beef, chicken, or pork, I make rice for guests.

Have you noticed a theme. Being Japanese, a meal is not a meal without rice. Besides, children like good Japanese rice. Even people who say they do not like rice, most say they never had rice that tasted good before.

Baby steps. I can do baby steps. I can eat whatever I make, just minus the carbs.

Never give up, never surrender, never ever.
You got this.
Have a blessed day.
