Those of us who see the Doc for any chronic conditions quickly learn that a Primary/GP Doc is more like a maintenance mechanic.

They know a “little bit” about a bunch of things.

They access and try and narrow things down to decide whether or not you need a specialist or it’s something they can manage.

They are experts in “primary care”.

They may know little about Diabetes but will be the most likely to treat/manage Type 2’s.

So how can they do that?

Yes, that is an exact (extract) from the guidelines.

(over on the right there is "full text PDF versions available")

And they are written in plain English such that any of us could understand.

They take away all the mystery and would answer just about any question any of us would have.

It is a super well written document
