I know it's not really diabetes related but I'm in for a colonoscopy tomorrow and don't know what to expect, I assume I'm under light sedation and it's about an hr long procedure but is there any after effects after it's been done.

Glad you’re going. Prep is the worst, procedure is nothing. They always give me an iv to sedate me but it never works and I’m awake the entire time and feel nothing. They found cancer in me and removed it.
No after effects. Harmless procedure.
I always have been sedated. Never had a problem.
I have one every five years since my mother had colon cancer. Never had a problem. But yes, the prep is the hardest part.
Yes also glad your going. I've had a couple of them over the years and never had after effects. I refused the sedation and felt no discomfort. I did my own prep and didn't use theirs. I just fasted the day before and that morning and made sure my bowels were empty. It was quite interesting to watch it on the monitor.
