Depending where you live there may be a local diabetes clinic that also have counselors on staff.

A call to your doctor (who are usually not much help other then writing prescriptions to deal with diabetes) can at least give you a referral which may be required.

There is most likely one on Facebook. I understand wanting to talk with someone who has similar issues, confusion about what we can eat, what needs are best, how to find a good health care team, and more. This is a good sport group (especially when I remember to use it)

Look at Facebook, or Google the kind of support you'd like to see.
