Yes very true, it does work alot better then just metformin. If your over weight, it will also help you lose some. I have lost 20 pounds so far ..

Metformin gave me almost constant diarrhea so I switched to Januvia (ridiculously expensive) and Glimiperide. After a while that no longer worked either, and when my A1C got up to 8.9, my endocrinologist recommended Trulicity and Glimiperide. The first 1.5 Trulicity had me sicker than a dog for ten days on the couch. Switching to .75 is much better.

I am not on it either. Metformin sometimes gives me diarrhea.

I was on the couch for ten days sicker than sick. Doctor switched me from 1.5 to .75 and that made all the difference in the world.
