My feet, hands, nose get cold as the day progresses
When my blood sugar levels start to go low, I get really cold. I don't know if it happens to everyone but yes, I get very chilly! I'm finding the cold affects me more now that I have lost a bunch of weight, too.
As Johanne notes it's possibly a complication of your diabetes - macro/microvascular damage - so "expected" especially if you have had uncontrolled sugars.
Working hard to keep sugars in check "now" can help prevent the (cold) from turning into full blown neuropathy/loss of feeling.
Diabetes does cause vascular issues. I have Raynaud's since age 21 (a circulatory issue to capillaries to fingers, toes, nose, ears, mouth and eyes) disease and since becoming diabetic it has worsen, Rheum told me it is because of the diabetes. But discuss with your doctor to be sure, there can be many reasons for cold extremities other then diabetes
Could be due to s circulation problem Ask your Dr I get cold feet no pun intended most often Mine is due to a circulation issue
A 30 minute walk in the evening helps with the cold feet
