I read an article recently that said CBD oil can actually cure diabetes. Any truth to this?
You are right Graham. I took CBD to manage arthritis pain, not the diabetes as I never heard before that it could help it. There is so many so-called cures around. Once diabetic, always diabetic. You can control it as long as you want, the day you eat a part of chocolate cake you're done, it's back. My doctor called my 3 years of perfect control the *honeymoon*. He said that if he didn't know better he would have said I didn't have it. I consider those perfect years as if I added them to my life's expectancy.
If most Type 2's went on a Keto diet and exercised "hard" they could "manage" their blood sugars to (non-diabetic levels) without the CBD oil and possibly even without their meds (at least for a few years after initial diagnosis).
I always look a little sideways when there is some claim of a "cure" or "put into remission". For that to be "true" (in this case) that would mean if you did "nothing" except the CBD oil you would have fully controlled blood sugar. And even their fine print clearly states that is not the case.
So while it may have "some benefit", as does taking fish oil or whatever, it is neither a "cure" nor even a "stand alone" treatment.
No l tryed it it gave me diarrhea, please do not waste your money on the snake oil.
Just make some "Homemade Brownies",,, it may not help your blood sugar count,,, but you won't care :-)
