My neuropathy has completely gone away by following the low-carb diet of under grams a day. Also, I watch the oils I use, avoiding seed oils, using avocado, olive oils, or butter in my cooking instead.

Magnesium supplement helped my leg cramps so I don't wake up in the middle of the night.

What worked for me was Alpha lipoic acid and acetyl-L-carnitine and a low carb diet. I used to lack feeling in my feet was clumsy and had to look down at my feet when using stairs. After 7-8 months on low carb reducing my A1C to 4.7 and taking alpha lipoic acid I got feeling back in the soles of my feet. Then some improvement but I read about acetyl-l-carnitine and decided to add that and within a couple of weeks I got feeling back in my toes . I also had bad night cramps and those are also gone. Good luck
