Ive seen Glucose tablets in the diabetic section of stores. just wondering if their for when you blood sugar crashes or is running too high

I have taken glucose syrup for when I have had Hypos when my sugar levels have been very low, when I have taken the syrup it works quite quickly.
I really don't know about high readings [as I have really never had a high] so sorry I can't help on that subject.

I always keep candy or the tabs with me, the problem I have the tablets is that I have to have at least 6 for them to really work, I'm not sure if this is the case with all glucose tablets or just the generic store brands.

For crashes. I keep them on me at all times just in case i go low

@A DiabetesTeam Member Hi....you can stop eating carbs to prevent it from going too high.
