16 to 20 is incredibly high if you're talking about mmol/L. Are you on any insulin at the moment? Other medications?
I have begun to bake a lot more to control the desserts I eat (have huge junk food addiction) but the only Splenda brown sugar I have found is small and expensive. Is it ok to use regular or do other use monk fruit brown sugar, regular sugar... please help would like to get a handle on my health and baking at home seems to work but its seems to be no cheaper.

Psyllium Husk (which is the fiber in Metamucil) is great as a bulking agent anywhere that you use breadcrumbs (like in meatloaf) - super high fiber - keeps things "moving" 😁

When I book carrots I make them not really soft and I drain them and add a bit of margarine and a sprinkle of seasoning salt and mix it with the carrots.
I dont like most vegetables so am having a hard time finding foods to help control my sugar levels and carbs are a great problem for me. I also like fish once in a while but would have to fix 2 meals if I make it because my daughter won't eat fish. I just would like some ideas on what I can do to help with my levels. Could someone help me out with different ideas on what they eat for breakfast and lunch and supper? I'm stuck on eating the same thing all the time because i stick to what works and end up eating the same old thing and it's getting annoying. You get tired of the same food at some point.
