I wake up most mornings with a very sweet taste in my mouth ! Is this down to T2 ?

I woke up with a dry mouth...wish'd it was sweet...So I drink half a litre of water after waking up...

Sorry that's "ketoacidosis", which is dangerous.

I've experienced that as well and wandered if I was experiencing some hypoglycemia since a person's breath smells fruity when they are experiencing acidosis.

What is your bg in the morning? If it's high, that might cause a sweet taste. Ask your DR.
