Edmond, I suggest you eat a lean and low fat foods like 1/2 cup plain oats, a small apple or small orange with 1/2 cup low fat milk. Lunch and dinner 1 ounce lean beef, pork, chicken skinless or turkey skinless, 1 ounce fish, 1/2 cup veggies, 1 cup garden salad, 1/3 cup brown rice or whole wheat pasta, a small fruit and 1/2 cup low fat milk. Also, water after each meal and snack. Walk/exercise 2-3 times daily, take your meds and check your numbers.

Avoid

Bacon
Sausage
White bread
White potatoes
French fries
Croissants
Pastries, pies, cakes, candies, chips, table salt, dressings, margarine, sugary cereals (fiber bran cereal 1/2 cup is good to eat ) or 1 boiled egg and 1 whole wheat toast with a small fruit and 1/2 cup low fat milk or 6 ozs coffee / hot tea.
Avoid : Hot dogs

Edmond, have you attended a dietician class for a meal plan? When I was diagnoised, my doctor set me up an appointment with a Dietcian and they provided me with my meal plan. It help me to manage diabetes. We can tell you what the dietcian prescibe for each of us but you might want to see about setting an appointment and get your own meal plan. It will help you so much, instead of going by someone else's plan. Once you're provided with your meal plan and continue to follow it, there's a great chanceyour numbers will go down. I wish you the best.

Edmond, is this your fasting number? If so, this would be high. Prayerfully, it will come down. Stay encouraged!!

How is your sugar now?
I pray it's better and that you follow a lean and low fat diet, exercise, drink 4-5 bottles of water daily. I don't know your physical health but our mental health must be positive and encouraging so you get better. God gives me strength to do all things.
Blessings, Blessings and good health!! Also, have fun!! 😊 Whatever you like to do, do it often with a mixture of exercise. I like playing ball with my children, throwing the Frisbee, dancing with my hubby, taking walks in the park. Last night, my hubby and I went to the Zoo to see the Christmas Lights. It was so beautiful!!! 😁
Life is fun and laughter with family and friends and I do some things alone because I like it. I have this illness but this illness doesn't have me!😊
