A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have lost weight and I'm pretty active in the summertime, going to the pool every day. My blood sugar has been normal to low 88. I'm taking medication, metformin 1000 AM and 1000 PM. I'm a little worried.

Are you eating something about an hour before exercise?

When exercising, your body burns more fuel. If your blood sugars are in normal range and you exercise... if the only thing you ate was more than 4 hours ago or so, it could cause your blood sugar to dip in the low.

Sometimes, just eating a granola bar an hour (approximately) before you swim might just be what you need.

Then again medication might be too high as well.

It can be hard to balance medication, food, and exercise sometimes.

I hope you can find a balance.

Good luck!

Have you tried bitter melon ?
BITTER MELON

This plant is a veggie of Asia and is called bitter melon, it is especially popular in Japan, Okinawa.

The bitter melon juice diluted 5% in water can be amazing for repair of damaged pancreas. This melon reduced 2 cancer types by 90% and other 2 by 98% after just 72 hours of curing. In the past you have heard from me on apoptosis. This is the natural way of killing sick cells. They kill themselves. This juice is making the cell death on many paths. Also it makes new paths and this kills the cancer cells metabolism for glucose. Or, they get starved from the sugar they need.
