Ever since I was diagnose, my sleep cycle is usually interrupted ever couple of hours so I can pee. I don't take insulin and I take oral medication. I have difficulty with sudden urge to pee during the day and sleeping through the night. Any reason?
You may want to change the time that you take your medication and take it a little earlier. When you take medication at night, you have to drink water, so drinking water too close to bedtime is bad. Also, if you take blood pressure medication or other medications, they act as a diuretic and they will definitely make you go a lot during the night.
Im type 2 and i got 3 or 4 times a night and can never drop back off to sleep again so annoying as i dont go that much during the day,im going to try and drin my last drink around 8pm i usually have a coffee before bed,il cut this out see if it helps too,i have my yearly check up end of the month il mention it to the nurse too
I get up between 3-4 times a night. Luckily, I can fall right back to sleep. What is strange, though, is that I hardly go during the day.
i look at it differently...that is a great time to check your sugar to see if you are running high or low...if you are running high drink some water..if you are low...eat an apple...just look at it as nature taking care of you.
I am up every two hours I’ve been taking a bladder
Control medication (otc) and it seems to help a little
