I’m taking Metformin, Jardiance and Kanu ia and the glucose levels are still high. What can I do to lower the high sugar levels? I get very frustrated when I look at my readings. I’ve lost 42 pounds already and I am not a big eater.

Change your diet to include those veggies: chayote, okra, bittermelon & see the results...
Ofcourse no potatoes except sweet potatoes. For breakfast just have 2-3 hard boiled eggs.

I just experienced the same thing on Jardiance. I was losing weight slowly, exercising and eating right yet my numbers where going up. ex 400 when blood work was done in Dr. office after I had been on the med for 3 months. I checked side effects and had several including the higher numbers. So off that med I came and within two doses of new med my numbers where down over 100 points . Check back with your DR. for sure. Good luck

you need to talk to your doctor about this. there are other meds like Invokana. I take Invokana and Januvia and all is good.

You will need to completely quit all sugar, breads, and very low carb diet..someone told me not to eat anything white like mashed potatoes, white bread, everything.. it’s very very hard.. Plus lots of walking and other exercises.. I take Metformin too.. I hate it.. it makes me feel worse..
