Do people think there is a connection between stress and depression and diabetes? If so, to what extent do you feel the connections exist? My personal feeling is that the connections between these factors may be underestimated. I feel that 50%, and perhaps somewhat more, of the reason for my diabetes, comes from levels of stress and depression. Do others feel the same way? Thank you.
Absolutely. I’ve been very depressed since I was diagnosed 6 yrs ago because I feel as if my quality of life is less compare to “healthy” ppl. Anything can go wrong from within if you have diabetes… read more

I have been told that after having this surgery I would no longer have to treat my diabetes. However I am wondering if I would be trading one set of problems for another. Since I have a weight problem being approved is not a problem, but I prefer to do things as naturally as possible. Some insight would be helpful and appreciated.
Diabetes is caused by your bloods cells a/b
There is no cure by losing weight

1. It’s the most common type of diabetes
Did you know that some 90-95% of people with diabetes have type 2?

I noticed it getting dark while he was on the bridge and he stated it is happening now, so I looked outside no glasses and saw the darken sun with a tiny halo of white around it, the sun was above our building so I had to bend down at window to see it, so I did not… read more

It's a continual pattern. I will tell myself I am not going to overeat at dinner & do it anyway. How do I become more disciplined? I know I am an emotional eater...

Today at work they gave me my second break early, then had me do some highly physical work. I was quickly exhusted. Then a co-worker yelled at me and I went to pieces. Because I felt I couldn't control myself. After I sat down for a while I felt better. Is this a diabetic reaction?
Yes, it’s related. Diabetes is physical and emotional. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, and it’s scary. And it’s so misunderstood, which is frustrating! I’m sorry this happened to you. No one should… read more
