One great way is to get a Contour next one it’s meter but you can connect your iPad or phone to it it will send your reading to your device and produce reports and charts you can manually input your carb intake also it also has the ability to send reports to your health professional handy if like me you are just starting out on insulin

Many years ago I used Excel to make a chart for the diabetic things I wanted to keep track of. Once you have the chart made you could just keep it as a file in your computer to use or print it out and make many copies. Most blood sugar meters have a cord that can be ordered to transfer your blood sugar readings to your computer. That is how my doctor can read my blood sugar readings when I go into her office, which I'm sure can be done at home. I also used to use One Touch Gold app that was helpful in many ways, you might find it helpful when it comes to carbs. I hope this helps.

There are calorie counting apps you can get on your phone that can track that but since we're not supposed to advertise here, I can't tell you which ones. Just have to do trial and error Like I did.

Get some sugar inside you. I have gone through this and is extremely scary because all you want to do is feel better. I want to get sugar into your system as fast as possible, I was almost blacking out. I've been told to drink juice, milk or even a teaspoon of.
