A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
Benoni, ZA

Sometimes I feel drunk, like my blood pressure is high - but when I test it, it's normal (141/80). Also my sugar levels are 7.5 or 8.4 etc which is also "normal" (under the circumstances). The doctor did an ECG, came back normal too, but the dizziness gets so bad I sometimes feel like falling over. I snack regularly and have a lot of fluids. I think the dizziness is caused by one or more of the meds you take. have Vertigo and when I turn around quickly or bend over I'm dizzy for quite a while. I've been this way for over 10 years.

When I get up quickly I don't feel dizzy but weak, I think it has to do with the blood pressure pills for me.

Keep asking medical professionals. But could it be that when you are experiencing dizziness it could be that you are actually hungry? I may be wrong, just an idea.

I'm so sorry.... Please can you explain the condition vertigo to me? I've heard about it, but what are the symptoms and is there any treatment available? Is it a chronic condition?

I have vertigo and am at great danger of falling all the time. But I'm 73 and have a history for the past 5 years of falling 4 times fracturing my right leg and my left arm. These pains do not go away for me especially in the humidity we have here in Texas. I hope you find out what is causing your dizziness.
