Do The Foods I Eat Today Have An Effect On My Fasting Blood Sugars Tomorrow Morning After 8-9 Hours Of Not Eating?
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

If I have something sweet this afternoon, such as a piece of peanut brittle and a glass of wine, will that affect my fasting blood sugars tomorrow after not eating for 8-9 hours?

when I eat popcorn or peanut butter before bed, my sugar levels will be high in the morning and my dr. wants my fasting level to be 130 or lower. So, I've had to cut those out.

yes it can. If you have it early in the day, it's better.
