Members responded to a newly diagnosed member's question about breakfast choices by gently pointing out that bananas and dried fruits are surprisingly high in sugar, and suggested focusing on lower-carb options like eggs, vegetables, and high-protein meals that help stabilize blood sugar throughout the morning. Several members shared their go-to breakfasts, including veggie omelets, eggs with whole grain toast, oatmeal as a slow-release carb, and egg scrambles with lots of vegetables, while recommending resources like glycemic index guides, diabetes education classes, and consultations with dietitians. A recurring theme was the importance of reading food labels carefully, reducing portion sizes of high-carb foods like muesli and fruit, and learning to balance protein and fiber to find what works best for individual needs and health goals.

I eat eggs with cheese and 2 slices bread with butter. Either as a sandwich or fried with toast. You may want to cut back on the muesli and fruit they both can be high in carbs. Google low carb breakfasts and you may get more ideas.

Start by cutting back.If currently having three fruits at same time go down to one.Have low sugar muesli ( better is porridge, Weetabix, bran flakes.) Check sugar content of yogurt.
